A Mind Muted

Saturday, May 24th, 2008

A cold evening and somehow the noise has died down. I find my way up to the top of my apartment for no particular reason. The day was good.

The breeze was strong, yet somehow it slowed down, as if in a mark of respect to me it seems to have bowed to me. It’s not gushing any more, just flows down gently singing a soothing note and cool just enough to send surprising a chill down me now and again.

Voices In My Head: Weatherman

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

As I watched the weather report for the upcoming 4th of July celebration I began to envy the guy standing in front of the map explaining to me that we’re sure to have a bright, sunny holiday. You see he may not have the most glamorous job, in fact as far as the news report goes he has the position with the least action involved. The sports guy undoubtedly holds someone’s financial future in his hands as he reads the nightly scores. The anchor men and women tell us about the day’s biggest tragedies and the “on the scene” reporters are out there in the thick of it all delivering information from the actual location of the story.

Playing Piano By Ear

Sunday, May 18th, 2008

Do you ever watch musicians in jazz clubs? Piano players are the most awesome to behold. They seem to just pick up and play songs they have never heard before that night. Many individuals can do this. No matter their instrument, they can listen to a song once and play it without hesitation and error free. The rest of us need music, carefully written keys, notes and time signatures as a guide. Perhaps we have neglected our own improvisational education. This article is to aid others in avoiding the same mistakes.

Introduction To Feng Shui

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

Feng shui is a term commonly thrown about in popular culture. Here is an introduction to this practical Chinese philosophy.

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese tradition involving the placement and arrangement of space and belongings. The goal is to achieve balance with the environment. The spiritual aspects of feng shui align with spiritual components of Chinese medicine. Ancient Chinese philosophy believed that mankind needed to find balance between the yin (feminine) and the yang (masculine). In Chinese medicine, this means that you find balance in salty and sour or hot and cold. In feng shui, the polarity is also related to finding balance between the spaces of the living (yin) and the spaces of the dead (yang), as well as creating balance between the elements of nature and the movements of man.

Funny Video And Entertainment Site Review

Monday, May 12th, 2008

So Google buys YouTube for $1.6B in stock and cash and suddenly the world wakes up. The result, hundreds of new entries into the funny video, video sharing and music video marketplace. I have heard many complaints about the sudden influx of content sites. To them I say, “shut it!”. There can NEVER be enough content on the web. It is what the internet was born to do (aside from ubiquitous communication of course).

Rodney Atkins If Youre Going Through Hell Country Music Cd Review

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

Rodney Atkins, the richly talented Country artist has released him latest album titled If You’re Going Through Hell and Wow! It’s good.

Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with If You’re Going Through Hell. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Here are some tips inspired by our seers . These tips helps you to clear blockage of energy in your home.

1-Brooms and mops are contraptions, which are involved in the removal of things. Keep them out of sight and preferably upside down. This will prevent the family livelihood from being swept away.

2-Ensure that the taps in your bathroom or kitchen do not drip. The constant dripping produces negative energy. Dripping taps signify leaking wealth.
