How To Do Cardio Without Running

The word “cardio” and “cardio workouts” are becoming a bit of a misunderstood term. Cardio is short for “Cardiovascular” meaning your heart, arteries, lungs, and muscles. For simplicity sake this is what we will consider “Cardio” to mean. Cardio has become slang for any type of workout that keeps your heart rate elevated at some steady state for a prolonged period of time, for example: running on a treadmill or an elliptical trainer. Cardio training has obvious health benefits like reduced blood pressure, increased insulin sensitivity, reduced blood cholesterol and triglycerides to name a few. These however are most likely secondary to most people who are doing cardio for the expressed purpose of burning more calories in an effort to lose fat/weight. Traditional cardio type workout may not be the best answer.

Lose Weight While You Sleep With Collagen Weight Loss Product

Experts say that our bodies continue burning calories even in idle moments, such as sleeping. For some, however, this natural burning process does not seem to be enough. This is when supplements are needed to enhance the body’s calorie burning ability, along with the usual diet and exercise. One such supplement is the collagen weight loss product.

What is collagen?
The collagen weight loss product contains a fibrous form of the protein collagen. Collagen comes in bundles known as “collagen fibers” and is part of the extracellular matrix supporting majority of our body’s tissues. It also gives cells their structure from the outside. Collagen is a strong substance; it is the main component of the ligaments, cartilage, bones, teeth, tendons, nails, and fascia.

How Kimkins Diet Differs From Other Weight Loss Plans

A new diet program, Kimkins, claims to help people lose weight both faster and more easily than other weight loss diets. Basically, the difference is in how many calories and how many carbohydrates are permitted. Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig are traditional weight loss programs that are based on low calories and high carbs. Newer diets such as South Beach and Atkins tell dieters to consume a moderate amount of both carbs and calories. On the other hand, Kimkins is a low card and low calorie diet that focuses on eating low-fat proteins and vegetables with a low carb count. Another thing that makes the Kimkins diet unique is that it is entirely online. Rather than going to a storefront, or buying prepared foods of a specific brand, it consists exclusively of information obtained through a membership internet site.

Weight Loss - 7 Reasons You Should Lift Weights And Use Cardio

I’m a strong advocate of weight training and doing cardiovascular exercise at the same time to lose weight. (But always separate the two by at least 6 hours!) Here’s why.

1. Although weight training might, in the short term, make you heavier on the scale, it does not make you fatter. Muscle weighs more than fat but looks infinitely better on your body and is a lot more useful than carrying fat around. It’s useful bulk!

With the right mindset, it is possible to lose weight and keep it
off. Here are 8 tips to assist in this process.

1. Eating habits
Eat 100% organic, virgin, and unrefined coconut oil. There is
research which supports this as an aid in weight loss.
Eat apples, preferably organic, every day. Apples decrease
appetite and stabilize blood sugar. Eat at least one apple per day.
Stay away from fast foods. These foods are loaded with harmful
fats, preservatives, and other chemicals. If one has to eat out,
try to eat at a restaurant and make healthy choices such as eating
a large salad, a baked potato, and broiled meats instead of fried
